The EUR 60,000,000,000 Debt Issuance Programme consists of two base prospectuses, (i) the base prospectus in respect of non-equity securities and (ii) the base prospectus in respect of Pfandbriefe (covered bonds) (together, the "DIP Prospectus"). The DIP Prospectus may be supplemented from time to time. Financial information about Bayerische Landesbank is incorporated in the DIP Prospectus by reference.
The competent authority for the approval of BayernLB´s DIP Prospectus is the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, Luxembourg (the "CSSF"). The CSSF has provided the competent authorities in the Federal Republic of Germany, in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, in the Republic of Austria, the Netherlands and in the Republic of Ireland with a certificate of approval attesting that the DIP Prospectus has been drawn up in accordance with the Luxembourg law which transforms the EU-Prospectus Directive into national law ("Notification"). BayernLB may opt at any time for notification of its DIP Prospectus in other member states of the European Economic Area.
All issues under the DIP Prospectus as from July 25, 2005 listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and their Final Terms are published on the website of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
